Roles & Responsibilities:Responsible for guiding, coordinating, and supporting the university's legal, risk control, and compliance affairs, including but not limited to:a.?? ?Leading and managing the university's legal teamb.?? ?Reviewing, drafting, and updating various legal documents such as service, procurement, research agreements or contracts, MoUs, and university policiesc.?? ?Participating in the decision-making process for significant legal matters within the universityd.?? ?Coordinating with various functional units in the university, such as research, branding, internal audit, academic units, university’s educational foundation and affiliated institutions, to jointly complete the university's legal, risk control, and compliance affairs e.?? ?Liaising and coordinating with external legal, accounting, auditing, and agencies bodies to provide services to the universityf.?? ?Performing other tasks assigned by President’s Office.Qualifications:a.?? ?Graduated from a well-known domestic law school with a master's degree or above, with dual degrees from Chinese and foreign law schools preferredb.?? ?Possessing a Chinese lawyer's license, and foreign practicing qualifications are preferredc.?? ?Having practiced in a well-known Chinese law firm for over 5 years, with comprehensive and continuous service to domestic renowned universities (including Sino-foreign cooperative universities) for over 3 years or having continuously served as a legal counsel in a renowned domestic university (including Sino-foreign cooperative universities) for over 5 yearsd.?? ?Familiar with the daily legal work of Chinese universities (especially Sino-foreign cooperative universities), familiar with the operation of private universities, and proficient in education law (especially private education law), charity law, public welfare donation law, foundation management regulations, non-governmental organization registration management regulations, intellectual property law, contract law, company law, private equity investment, labor law, national security law, data security and personal information protection law, internet law, scientific and technological achievements transformation, scientific ethics review, human genetic material and biosafety law, tort law, and other laws and regulations. e.?? ?Having rich theoretical and practical experience familiar with the resolution of various civil, commercial, administrative, and labor disputes (litigation, arbitration)f.?? ?Possessing excellent interpersonal communication skills, strong team leadership abilities, able to coordinate work with various units within the university, able to coordinate with external lawyers, auditors, and other external bodies able to complete significant and difficult tasks within a limited timeg.?? ?Having no record of any government sanctions, professional disciplinary sanctions, criminal records, or other adverse recordsh.?? ?Proficient in English both in speaking and writing, able to work fluently in English, including participating in meetings, drafting and reviewing documents and regulations.
